Briefly...
I'm Alex Gough, a relapsing reformed
physicist. I'm currently studying a PhD in Sea Ice Physics
at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. This includes
components of fieldwork at Scott Base on McMurdo Sound, Antarctica.
My research interests cover the winter growth of sea ice and the formation
and properties of the platelet layer in the vicinity of an ice shelf.
