Halley, Summer 2006

We arrived at Halley on the 29th of December and swung into a couple of days off, welcome rest after relief, then swung into the long days of the summer season. Eight weeks of intensive toil to get the base ready for the next winter, and learn the jobs we'd be doing during the darkness.
