This is a small, slightly tacky, fairly cheap Indian restaurant above the High Street - somewhere to go for a quick curry rather than a gastronomic experience.

The vegetarian main course options aren't listed on the menu, but despite this you can still order things like Vegetable Dhansak and Vegetable Korma (although the Korma is not vegan, obviously, being a cream-containing dish). The Vegetable Dhansak was actually pretty good, and the side dishes of Saag Bhaji and Mushroom Bhaji were also interesting and contrasted. Dishes can be made with no butter, just vegetable oil. Poppadoms, four main courses, two side dishes, rice, breads and four drinks came to £14 per head. You can bring your own wine if you like, although the restaurant is fully-licensed.
