Hello this is my attemp at a document to help people to program the
Sound Blaster. I hope that it will be of use to the many people who want to
include support for games...



There is already a lot of information on the NET about programing the SB and
my contribution will probably, not be any better than anybody else's, but
here it is anyway!





Types of sound




There are three main ways of creating sound with the SB 



(i)     Dirrect wave manipulation, through the DAC  

(ii)    Musical note creation using the FM chip             

(iii)    MIDI output onto a MIDI bus
