nqptp (1.2.9-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream release.
    - The shared memory interface used to talk to shairport-sync is now
      smi11 (was smi10); shairport-sync 5.6 or later is required. See
      NEWS.Debian.
    - Smoother clock handoff when the PTP grandmaster changes (e.g. when a
      HomePod or Apple TV joins the group): the change in offset is passed
      on to shairport-sync, the PTP correction_field is used in timing
      calculations and clock smoothing is no longer restarted.
    - Restore per-client state so that several shairport-sync instances on
      one host can be in the same AirPlay 2 group without silencing each
      other.
  * Remove systemd-system-unit-dir.patch; merged upstream.
  * d/control: change Architecture to linux-any.
  * Add d/NEWS entry about the shared memory interface change.
  * d/control, d/rules: provide the virtual package nqptp-smi, versioned
    with the shared memory interface version extracted from the source at
    build time, so that shairport-sync can require a matching nqptp.
  * d/control: add Breaks on shairport-sync (<< 5.6~), the first version
    to use smi11.
  * Drop d/nqptp.8 and d/manpages; the man page is now installed by
    upstream.
  * Bump debhelper compat to 14: explicitly use the single-binary dh
    sequence and drop the now-automatic ${misc:Depends} and
    ${shlibs:Depends}.
  * d/copyright: update years and add the authors of the man page and the
    multi-client test script.
