I've been to similar places in other counties and they've been great for vegans, as you pick all you food and watch it being cooked.

Here however was very different. They say on their menu that they are happy to cook your food on foil, if you are a vegetarian, to avoid it mixing with all the meaty juices on the hotplate. This was not true the evening I went. On requesting foil, they glared at me. Fifteen minutes later, of them glaring at me and me glaring back, they grudgingly found some foil and cooked my food.

Also, I'd advise you to keep a close eye on your food while it is being cooked as one of my companions was given back the wrong food despite his protests that it definitely wasn't his.

[NOTE from Kake, April 2005: I'm told the Mongolian Wok has now closed.] [Note from Zach, May: I think they moved and renamed to Sojo by the rail station.] [Note from AcidCat, Feb 2007: They have moved to Sojo by the rail station, but the food and service has got worse. Avoid like the plague.]
