Branca is a fairly standard Italian by Oxford standards. I told them I was vegan when I booked and they said it wasn't a problem. I arrived and they said "we're not very good for vegans". Always reassuring! When I mentioned the phone conversation, they reiterated that it wasn't a problem but they weren't very good for vegans.
Despite their comments, the food was good. Salad to start and roast vegetable pizza to follow. I think there was a pasta dish they offered to amend for me. The lack of choice wasn't a problem for me as I like pizza and salad but that (or the pasta dish) is all you are likely to get.
