Don't go there would be the best advice I can give. Despite ringing up in advance to check there would be something vegan available, finding out what options I had was comparable to getting blood from a stone. "What do you eat at home?" from the waitress summarised the conversation quite well. I ended up with soup minus the pesto, that really needed the pesto for flavouring, and spaghetti with tomato sauce which closely resembled the result when I cook spaghetti and add a couple of tablespoons of a tin of chopped tomatoes. Never again. In Quod's favour, though, the meat eaters seemed to be very happy with their meals.
