On Cranham Street, just off Walton Street by the cinema, this has been a favourite haunt of mine for years (though I must admit I'm getting a bit bored of it now). They do Jacket Potato and Baked Beans (£2.30), which is probably vegan, though I must remember to check what brand of beans they use - apparently HP brand contains milk powder.
The Veggie Spaghetti Bolognese (£3.00) is vegan, and really nice - it contains no fake meat, relying instead on vegetables such as cauliflower, potato and courgette. It comes with a choice of brown or white bread - make sure you ask them to leave the packet of butter off the plate. You can have it with rice or chips instead of spaghetti if you ask nicely. The Veggie Curry (£3.00) is vegan, but not particularly nice - all heat and no spice. It comes with rice, and the greasiest poppadom I've ever seen.
Their Vegeburgers are not vegan as they contain egg white, but if enough people ask them, they might consider changing suppliers. If you are clever, you'll think of having one of their pizzas without cheese on. You can't - they buy them ready-made and frozen.
