I got Spice and Truffle from a shelter in North Oxford, in October 1999. Both sadly died in 2001, aged around 3. There's also another photo of Spice.
We got Shana, Kali and Holly from a shelter in East London, and Myste and Storm (on the left) from a breeder in the Midlands, all in September 2001. Shana sadly died of a number of complications in December 2001, Kali from a facial tumour April 2002, and Holly from old age October 2002. Storm died from a head tumour October 2003, and Myste of old age in April 2004. There's also a picture of all 5, and another one, and one of Myste and me.
After Holly died, in November 2002, we got Bramble and Nutmeg (both aged about 10 weeks) from the same East London shelter, and Arwen (another image here) and Luthien (aged 6 weeks) from Arkady (sadly no longer breeding). Nutmeg died of a tumour in May 2004. Arwen and Luthien both died of old age, in March and April 2005 respectively. At time of writing Bramble is still with us and going strong - especially for such an elderly rat (around 2 years 8 months).
